Hi I have a stock 96 Z28 convertible with auto transmission. At a stop light my cars idle speed is only 300-400 RPM it seems way to low for the car but i have no idea. If the car should be idling faster what can i do to make it happen thanks, Mike

 

If I remember correctly stock idle is 550 in drive and 650 in neutral. Something must be wrong, try cleaning the throtle body and the ia passage and check the iac if it's functioning properly. You'll need a scanner to check the iac counts.
