You guys know how to tell if cam is stock?
I am trying to figure if the cam was replaced like the previous owner claimed. I was wondering if there was anyway to well without pulling it and looking for serial numbers. I replaced the water pump and it appeared that it had been on there forever. The car has 107K miles, so when you guys pulled the water pump after under 25K miles was it obivious that the gaskets were in good shape and didn't look petrified like mine did? He owned it between 80,000- 97,000 so it had to be fairly new. I also see from my freescan numbers my IAC's are high at 53. I have low oil pressure around 17-18 after warming up. I am curious if there are other signs to look for from scans, visual & sounds? I want to tune it but wouldn't it be hard to get right not knowing all the info. One guy suggested calling him and letting him hear it over the phone. If any of you want to do this just pm me your number and best time to call. Thanks in advance
