Idle drop

Idle drop

When I put the lt1 into reverse or drive, it idles down to around 500 or so and feels as if it will stall out, but it never does and quickly picks the idle up. It only lasts for a second or so. Anyone know what can cause this?

Have you checked for any vacum leaks? Anything change recently?

I just did a lt1 motor swap into my 96 gmc truck. It has about 100 miles on the swap so far. lt4 hot cam, 1.6RR, springs, lotsa other stuff.

stock 4l60e from the truck. low crappy torque converter

soon to be a built 4l60e with a 2800 stall.

From: LUBBOCK Tx and Dallas on occasions
it is the cam was there any tuning done? I put an lt4 in my TA and it did the same thing pcm tuning will correct it.

It was already tuned by bryan herter at pcmforless.com
