Identifying cam.. was i Dooped?!

Bought a cam thats new, but noticed that the part number seems to be a custom grind..

Here are the details on the cam box:

07-000-08

LT 3314S / 3315s HR112+4

I thought this was a cc503 cam....

What is etched/stamped on the end of the cam? Maybe someone just used a cam box they had lying around.

It sounds like you have the right cam. Just call Comp and ask them.

It is. If you look at the Comp Cams catalog and lobe chart, you will see that those lobes (3314 and 3315) are the 224/230 lobes. 112 is the LSA. All what the 503 has.

That would be the lobe numbers etched on the cam. Look it up.

Correct length pushrods are determined by measuring. It's not determined by cam and rockers. Stock length is 7.200".

Okay.. What changes in the valvetrain geometry require a change in push rod length?

Rockers can influence PR length as well. If the rockers are changed the sweep must be checked.

Well the heads havent been shaved and the only other thing thats changed is the higher ratio rocker arm. I wont hunt for the perfect answer on this thread.. i'll just do my best to measure once everything comes together.

thanks guys.
