IAT resistor mod

having some timing issues at part throttle since the H+C swap
curious if this will be a worth while mod to attempt to get some more timing out of it until i can get it done thru tuning?
who has a link for a how to and what size resistor to use?

Its a 4.7k at Radio Shack 5 for a $1.00.

I believe you run the resistor from one terminal in the IAT to the other.

thanks fells, i'm gonna try it and if it isnt noiceable in the butt o meter then its coming back out and i'm buying LT1 EDIT
