iam the pits

went to track last night with my new setup,best of 13.4 at 110.8 with a 2.5 60ft. iam at a loss. how do you get a 6 speed to launch?i had brand new nitto's on the back at 19psi.i would either bog or spin iam nervous about frying my 10 bolt,how do i get a 1.8 60ft. time?i can't drive any ideas? thanks

you have to figure out the happy median between the clutch and gas. Just keep practicing. It will get better. Are you warming those tires up pretty good? I have been using et streets for years without breaking the rear. I'm not saying you won't break yours but just feather the clutch and you should be fine.

I cut 2.1s my first time to the track last year on street tires, i think I was launching around 2500 or so....

Don't get discouraged. You simply need more seat time in your car. Look on the bright side, based on trap speed, your car is making good power and is capable of being over 1 second faster.
