iam thinking about buying this hood..i got a few questions, does the hood fit perfectly like the factory one does, does it all line up evenly? does the hood come in primar? like a black gloss finish? what type of ram air box are u guys using, and what comes with the hoods? thanks

 

no offense...i dont like it too much...too much stuff goes on in the front of the car if you ask me.

 

my buddy(not a stik6shift buddy) had one and his fit good...

ive heard stories and they are all different.. some say it fits perfect some say not....

i guess it depends on the hood itself

but my guess is that you shouldnt have a problem

 

It has a perfect fit. I have an MTI induction box. The first paint job became blistered, but the paint shop repainted it for free, and I haven't had any problems-they don't know what caused it to blister. I don't know what comes in the kit because I bought the car used. I just put up some pics of my car, check it out.

 

did the hood come with the car???

if so then maybe it had to be fitted to get put on

 

My friend was the first owner of the car, and he had the hood put on. I'll ask him if he needed to make adjustments to get a good fit.

Mine fit great, very few adjustments of the hood stoppers, etc. Mine came in like a shiny gray primer and came with the Ultra Z decals, the grill for the opening, and thats about it.

i had a friend and he had it..he liked it alot...but he got in an accident...so its back to stock now..

 

got mine in the fall or 98. The shop working my car was very impressed with it, but I was there first and only 4th gen.

Fit is good overall
