IAC and oil cooler

Anyone know what these two have in common? I have a 1995 camaro and everything lists two different IAC part numbers, one with an oil cooler and one without. Now, I know that I do in fact have an oil cooler, but I want to know why that would effect the IAC (Idle Air Control valve). Thanks.

I don't know about this situation exactly, but GM did some weird stuff with part numbers. For example, the FPR is listed as two part numbers, one for 93-95, and one for 96-97. Yet both of the part numbers are the exact same part. One is more expensive then the other also.

That is the case here as well, one is a good bit more expensive. Although, the one I think I'd use is the cheaper of the two. I seriously doubt it's two different things, I just wanted to be sure.

Re: IAC and oil cooler

probably what they said. Almost all GM MAP sensors were the same thing on the efi vehicles from the late 80's to current on some vehicles....most of which have different part numbers. i just pulled one out of an 87 carbureted s-10 and put it on my lt1 and it operates fine.
