IAC @ 16-20 counts at idle

I just installed a stock 52mm bored TB. IAC counts before the install
were in the 23 range. After installing the new TB the counts were
a low of 16 and a high of 20. TPS voltage is 0.59 closed. The engine
idles fine and the IAC seems to be fine otherwise. Also, the throttle
blades are as closed as they can be. Any more open and the IAC
counts just go lower.

Any problem with IAC counts in this range? What is necessary to get
the counts up in the 20-40 range?

No harm running them lower, as long as it doesnt ever get to 0, you will be fine.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about this more today and there is
probably not much I can do to get the counts up anyway. Even though
the throttle blades are closed, enough air is getting through that the
IAC is closing down to compensate. Maybe it would be a problem if I
wanted to lower my idle, but I'm fine with 800 for now.

Unless your having Idle problems i would leave it alone.. YOu could stand to close the blades a little if problems arise though.
