I want to hear everyone's opinon on whether or not to degree in a cam for the LT1.

I want to hear everyone's opinon on why or why not an individual should degree in a cam for an LT1 vs just lining the dots up. Many have had success just lining the dots up with the opti being the main reason. Others like to take it a step further and degree the cam in, regardless of what the opti wants.

Which is the right way? Is one potentially better than the other?

What happens if there is advance ground in to the cam?
