I tried turning it and it wont move.. I couldn't find my breaker bar . So I had to do do it with my ratchet . It moved a tiny bit . I heard something inside move ( metal sound) and after that it didn't move at all..

Try to turn the engine with the spark plugs removed. Its difficult to do so with them in using just a ratchet.

What if the starter is broken and stuck some how.. That would make the engine not move manually because of the flywheel right?

Im going ot take off the starter like in a hour or so . So the sun can go down a bit.. Its too hot outside right now

That would be unlikely. The starter gear is not in constant contact with thy flywheel, when the starter is engaged, the gear pops out and engages the flywheel thus cranking the engine and then slides back.

doubtful, i had a starter do this on my TA, just out of the blue it blew apart, then another time the armeture stuck out and wouldnt go back in, one perk to having headers... ease of starter removal and installation!

I tried turning the engine over manually by trying to move the flywheel and it wont move at all..

What other way can I try it? If i put the car in 2nd and push it will it turn the engine or no?

:::EDIT::: I got the flywheel to move 2 inches to each side.. If the engine was locked it wouldn't move at all right ?

Have you removed the starter? If so, have you tried to rotate the engine by the dampner bolt?

Make sure your car is in neutral before you try turning it manually.

My car made that same sound when my starter blew to shreds (casing was all over the place).

Yeah I turned it manually .. It finally moved about 2 inches to each side.. The casing of my starter is also in pieces..

The question is.. If the engine was locked can it still move a bit or no?
