I think my car is running pretty good
I totally agree with you. really i havent had any problems with the car that werent quick fixes. Ill have owned it 4 years by the end of this month. But I think i spend about as much time maintaining and cleaning the car as i do driving it. Its in near perfect shape for its age and mileage, people dont believe me that the paint is original
also my best 60 of the day was only a 2.1 ... is that OK or should I not expect any better than that on street tires?

I think im better just knowing my car has the potential, than to break it trying.

BTW, joel how is the clutch chatter on the spec 3? I was talking to the owner of a hendrick's edition lt1 ss w/ 383 h/c lt1 and he said his spec 3 chattered like a mother ****er but it gripped good.
I don't know how many runs you've made down the track nor what size/brand tires you have but you should expect 2.0-2.2 60' on street tires. If the track is hookin' and you have good newer street tires and you know how to launch you might pull off a 1.9 60' but that'd be impressive. I see kids making 2.4 60's all the time. I think my owner of my SS ran a 2.2 60' when he ran it but he was being careful with the 10 bolt.

About the spec 3, lets put it this way. Its definitely got a personality. Driving it around its pretty obvious that it does NOT like gentle slow starts at all. If you try to baby it off the line it WILL complain and chatter your teeth out. However 90% of the time if I just let it engage quick its smooth as butter. Ultimately you just gotta learn how to drive it. I know how it works and i still get chatter, you just cant always let it out quick in every situation.
As far as how good it grabs... NO complaints. if you watch the video of my 13.56 run you can hear me chirp 4th
It was doing that all day.
