i blead with the cap on after fully filling the system. otherwise with the cap off you are just letting air in at the high point. Oh yeah protect your opti with a bunch of rags or paper towels

Ive bled and bled and still gets near overheating, stays right around the line right before the red then drops a little then back, then when i shut off i see steam and hear some bubbling.
