I think i broke something need help!!

I was looking at my plug wires on the drivers side, the one all the way back near the oil filter. And i noticed this cylinder that was hanging down, looks like it connected in a spot somewhere above the oil filter. I have no idea what it is, and i cant get it back on. Can anyone help. I might just take a picture of it if no one knows what it is.
-Thanks

So it would be safe to not put it back on, just make sure it doesnt drag? Cause its kinda late now, and i have to drive 2morrow morning. So i would just do it later 2morrow.

This doesnt screw on, i think it pushes in but it just wont stay on. I have a feeling it never really was on there, but just attached up there and i didnt notice it til it fell down.

I broke mine as well. I think it's an oil pressure sending unit. My car is a '94 though and only '93s (i'm guessing yours is from the username) are supposed to have them in that location (supposedly). Lemme know when you find out.
