Pull the intake.If the intake valve happens to be open you will have to pull the head to get it out of the cyl.

 

before i pulled anything off i would try and get it out anyway possible. But if after every other option i still couldn't find it, i would start taking the motor apart until i found it. Wouldn't chance cranking it before i made for sure it wasn't in the engine.

 

meh... just fire it up... you'll hear it coming out if there's a problem...
