i was readin from the rear wheel 383 page and have a ?

guy said "As far as actual dyno #'s I have seen 390 or so with a Hot Cam, 6 speed and stock rearend, LT's, no cats, etc.

I have also seen 410 from an A4, 12 bolt, cc306, LT's , etc.

I have also seen 390 from a TH 400, 3500 stall, 12 bolt, cc306, LT's and a stock tune (ran out of $)." 390 horses with just removed cat, the hotcam, and he got 390 horses?

I'm not sure but maybe they forgot to mention the fully P&P heads on the motors too? 400RWHP from 33 extra cubs, CC306 and LTs/w stock heads doesn't seem very truthfull. Im sure they all have P&P heads.

oops, my bad.

Yes, they all have ported heads with larger valves. I mentioned later in the thread that they had larger valves but I guess I left off the "ported" part.

The brief description are just general parts of their combination and notes about each. None had ever been dyno tuned and were still running on the "other" tune.

I listed trans type and cam size since the Cam has alot to do with RPM range and HP and the Trans (especially the guy with the TH400 and 3500 stall) type will also change the dyno #'s at the wheels.
