I no longer have posi traction, how bad it that?
Well... it's not too bad. I mean it won't affect driving car around town or anything. But what happened is your auburn carrier has chewed itself up enough where it won't grab for posi. It's kind of hard to explain, but that kind of carrier bites into itself on either side and that is how it provides posi(along with the springs and other stuff). It sounds like your carrier has no more bite left. If I were you, I would buy an Eaton carrier cuz unlike the auburn carrier, the Eatons are rebuildable. But your performance loss will be bad. These cars don't even like to hook up with both tires turning, much less just one. It's not the end of the world though thank god.
Unfortunately, they are expensive 1800 to 2500
If you are bucks down you might try to rebuild the stocker but they are notoriously weak. I have gotten mine to live with 3.73s and a TA rear end girdle but I run street tires all the time and as long as your spinnin your rear should be fine, if you run a full slick and get the car to hook you will grenade the rear in a relatively short time.

i am not planning of getting slicks, my car does not have big mods so it does not hava a lot of power and i have 2:73s at the back. I was thinking of getting 3:42s and stronger carrier, if i did that would that fix my posi problem
you mean both wheels don't burn?
when my auburn wore out, it still locked up both wheels...all the time! no limited slip
the SLP take off is way better, which is what is in there now, w/ 3.73s
