i need a whole new distributor

where can i get a whole new distributor? or is optispark and the distributor the same thing? the dealer says its about $400 bucks i think theyre trying to rip me a new one...how much does one go for and where can i get it? thanks

yes the opti is the dist. go to www.samtaylor.com they are like 180 for vented and 2 something for nonvented

you have a vented becuase you have a 97...

Jason Cromer @ Sam Taylor is who you need to talk to. I just bought a vented recently for $209 plus shipping.

Optispark=distributor. As previously said, yours is the vented version and should be ~$200 from Jason or Dal. The dealer is not going to quote you wholesale prices for anything, like these guys sell for.
