I need shocks

i drove my car to work today, and i noticed that the back was bouncing a lil too much.. i was like on a very smooth asphalt but it was like i was driving over a ****ed up road.. and it would change.. for a while it would be good.. abut then it would get really bad again. so i went to a mechanic and tested my shocks.. my passenger side back was bouncing. we also tested from under the car and it was obvious that it was the shock.. it was even making sound. so he told me i needed to change it..
i dont wanna change just that one shock.. i either wanna change the 2 back or all the 4. now i dunno what to get.. i ve heard hal's is good.. i want something thats not too stiff and on the other hand once in a while i like to drive hard and do sharp corners.. so i want performance too... so i dunno if hal's would be good. other thing.. what the adjustement **** on the hal's? does it adjust the stiffness or the height? if the stiffness.. is it possible to adjust the height? also if i wanna get hal's would it be alright if i get 2 for the back and run the front with the stock ones ?
thanx..

if you want to stay stock...slp sell stock take offs for real cheap...maybe 50 for 2 of them. They only have a couple of miles on them.

Actaully a lot of people use the Front hal's by themselves.
I personally have the complte set, but if i were you and you didnt want to spend all that money. I'd get the fronts and rear's like the comp Engin shocks or newer SLP take offs.
The comp Engin are pretty nice and fairly cheap.
Thats just what i would have done if i didnt get the full Hal's...

Theres all the Bilstein H.D's! Those are sweet!

I'd get the SLP Level One Suspension Package for $650 at ACA Performance .
Have a look at it, it's the best package for this price!

In my opinion, its pointless to get just the rear Hal's..
The fronts are height adjustable, which makes them very sweet. Thus the reason i'd say to get just the front's if you dont want the rear. But it does sound like your looking for rear shocks. I'd do 1 of 3 things like i said before...1. Get the full hal's set. 2.Get just the Hal front's with Bilstein H.D's in the rear or 3.like the Comp Engin rears.
In my eyes thats what i would have done if i didnt get the full set. Remember theres always the Koni's or the full H.D's that you could that are sweet set-ups as well..
