ditch the rear seats, spare tire, jack, trunk lining, carpeting (if you're brave enough... I'm not), floor mats (personally I keep the driver's in), passenger seat if your a the track.

get some light rims (like real ZR1's or a pricy aftermarket design), ditch the front sway bar, ditch the center consol (or at least all the contents), remove the front sway bar at the track, empty the windshield washer fluid, transplant the battery to the spare tire well and go with a small drag battery at the track. Remove the AC controls, wiring, pump, heatercore, and vents. REmove the passenger and driverside air bag, STB.

That's about all the easy stuff I can think of (AC isn't that easy mechanically, but it has little impact other than rolling down the windows).

Oh yeah, bumper crash foam and teh impact plastic down there as well. For more exotic weight-loss, remove the pop-up lamps and they're support brackets/motor/sensor, then fab a clear-acrylic cover to permant mount some lights up front. Ditching the fog lamps and using tubing to make the 2 TA holes up front pass-through vents (which can be tapped for brake ducts if you road race) would also save some weight and air-resistance.

Good luck.

Drill as many 1/4 inch holes in frame rails as you feel comfortable with.

Could even extend that practice to your wheels.

And yes, I'm kidding.
