i need a center cap for my wheel. they are chrome 5 star 16x8 factory wheels on the 98-99 z28. it has a gm # listed 9592665 but it doesnt exist??? they list a 9592666 as a centercap, does anyone know if this is it??
please help

Yes that is the correct number.

EDIT: The regular aluminum version (N96) is GM p/n 9592606.

Yours is the chrome (N98) GM p/n 9592666

Numbers change and what is stamped on a part is not always the number you will find in the book.

 

Car's at home - can't check the codes, but If I've got the N96 code, that part number 9592606 will work for me? I've got the original alum. salad shooters ('94) and need new center caps.

You have the same RPO for the salad shooter as the 5-spoke wheel because they are the same I guess and GM reused the RPO when the salad shooter was no longer available after the 96 model year.

Salad shooter centercap is GM p/n 10119598
