I was going to offer to sell you my stock one cheap, but after seeing these on ebay i'd say just get a new carsound one.

I think this one is a better match http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2446372461

3" in/out no air or O2's.

I just bought the carsound CAT from performancepeddler on ebay. It is a very nice unit. It was $31.50 plus $15 shipping. It flows great. It is the 3" in and 3" out CAT (model 94109)
. There is an article where they tested them at

http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...n11.122001.htm

Plus I got it in about two days.

PM me if you need a picture

Just get the cat for emissions and install a cutout before it, if possible, for performance...

Just my $.02

I'm making mine flanged at both ends so that I can just unbolt it and replace it with an ORP or a bullet muffler if I want.

Something kinda like this

brent - can you tell my about your stock cat?
Well, it had ~53-55k miles when i took it off last year, no signs of clogging, i installed headers and a catco. I see your concern about the high flow when you know a stock one will definitly pass. There are quite a few people running those though so i'm sure we'd have heard of someone failing with one if it was a problem. The epa would have their asses if it didn't work. Replacement cats aren't designed to last as long as original equipment ones though. I'll sell you the complete ypipe for 20+ shipping if you want it, but for 30 bucks for the highflow + a couple bucks to get it welded in....

Yup. Looks about right

How exactly did the sound change from the CAT to the Bullet muffler? Did you notice any difference between the two for HP?

I am in NJ and I will have 2 RANDOM Highflow cats for sale after Monday Jan 26th. I am having a custom off road pipe put on my car by Mufflex for better ground clearance, better fitment and mabee more power....but If you are interested in my cats, I will sell that for 75 bucks each....That is cheap considering what they cost new.

Lemme know if you are interested, but remember, you will have to wait till Jan 26th to get them.

Thx,
Claude

Yes, assuming that your AIR pump and EGR are still functioning correctly...
