Exclamation i need a new cat

hey guys. my cat was clogged, so i gut it. now i need to get the car inspected. i have slp loudmouth exhaust on my car, and i need to pass emissions in new jersey, so im thinking of just getting a basic, stock cat. where can i get one and how much should i expect to pay? thanks.

Hmmmmm. For the price you pay for a stock cat(or a slightly used stock cat) you'd be better off getting a high flow cat in my opinion. I got a random technology high flow cat for my car on sale for $140. It's a little high but seems to work great. Didn't rob me of power, toned down the exhaust a little, and passed emmissions with flying colors. I got it from thunderracing.

You can go with a universal and it will work fine. Just need to know what size piping you have.

Ps. You can go to any muffler shop and they will do it for ya…Big muffler shops have high-flow CAT and they will cost about $100 (including installation)…
Thanks

What does taking life too seriously have to do with this guy passing emissions and your off road Y comment?

Some people don’t have any sense of humor. If they did they should understand that my comment was a joke...But apparently they don’t or are to dumb to understand the joke...

Maybe it's just that your "joke" wasn't really that funny to begin with...
