I Just bought a brand new sts turbo system for my 94 camaro and I can set the turbo from 5-15 psi but I know a stock lt1 can't handle much more boost than 7-8psi because of the high compression of the lt1. So if there is a way to lower my compression or something I'm pretty shure I can retard the timing with the Nelson Performance PCM tuner I got but I dont know how slow I can set it without my engine running like crap I would like to get it down to 9:1 it so I can run like 12-13 pounds or more of boost because my turbo can support up to 900 hp but I only wanna run 600hp for now which i should get a 12 psi

If I put heads with 76cc combustion chambers would that lower the comperssion? and I don't know much about pistons so where should I get them and what ones should I use to lower my compresion? and would I need a diffrent crank cause I'm going to be runnin about 600 hp and the stock crank is only good to like 450 isn't it?and how much can my stock six speed handle? and what would be a good cam to run with this engine but I can't figure out what one or brand to buy so if you could help me out it would be much appriciated

Yeah a larger chamber will lower the compression, but it won't strengthen the pistons. (especially against 15 #s of boost)
