Question I need help....quick....

I know my catalytic converter is clogged(sp). My car is doing the same thing the last time it got clogged. My question is, would it be better to buy a high flow cat, off road pipe, or just gut the one I have now. I can get a high flow cat installed for $150, most shops won't put on an off road pipe around here, or gut mine for free. Is there an advantage or disadvantage for any of those.

Thanks

I would probably just get your current cat gutted. Also you have to find out why your car has clogged 2 cats.

Well, I lost my liscence for 6 months and the car just sat there, I think that may be why it happened this time. The first time was 2 years ago when I got it, it was clogged when I bought it.

I say offroad pipe. They will always flow better than gutted cat and you can keep your cat for the next time you have to pass e-check, if that applies to you.
