I need this clamp! Shoebox??

I have been to 2 dealers and both could not find a part number. I am at the point where its either pick a part or to use a different clamp. So this is my last resort into getting a new one.

Heres are pics of where the clamp goes.

Pic #1

Pic #2

In pic number 2 you can also see the harness that should be clamped to the firewall 9its the one wrapped with the Hi-temp wrap)

I have not looked for it, but I have no clamp there. Are you sure there is supposed to be one?

I might be mistaken. But if you look at the 2nd pic you can clearly see the harness sitting on the EGR tube. It was fastened somewhere.

It looked like it had something on that little tab. I had the car torn apart awhile back and I didn't even think about that harness till the convoluted tubing got burnt and burned a couple wires and a vacuum hose.

Maybe it was held in place somewhere else but it wasn't just hanging there.

Can someone possibly get me a photo of theirs? My car is a '95 but is a California car so it has dual cats so maybe there is a difference.

Cool

I do believe there is one of those stupid plastic retainer deals on there that snaps into the firewall. They are present all over the convulted tubing holding to the chassis. I know that you have ta know what i'm talkin about Rob

My EGR tube does not stick up like that. It goes down from the manifold and not up. It comes no where near that part of the main harness. Mine also does not have as much heat wrap on it as yours does. Perhaps your dual cat car is different as you said.

There is one large retaining ring right above the a/c expansion valve and that is the last one I know of before the harness gets to the intake manifold. I did not see any clips in the parts book.
