Sweet. In Az if you have no codes you pass emissions. It's sweet. I could pass with anything. Been doing it catless for 2 passes through emissions.

The guy i bought my Firebird from threw in what he said was a CC305 that he had in the original motor until he blew it by not upgrading the springs right. I dont know how many miles was put on it or how many passes he made with it. It does have a bit of rust on one of the lobes so im not sure if it can be used or not. But if it can ill give you a good deal on it.

And the stamped part underneath the first etched lnumbers reads: 4714 YA

That looks pretty serious. If it does't clean up without leaving pit marks, I would consider it toast.

I have an extra cc501 cam... It's a little milder than the hotcam and would more than likely pass emissions.
