Angry I must be frickin stupid!! Battery Relocation Cable question

Ok I got a Taylor kit relocation kit. Now my questions are about the cables themselves.

Ok for the ground cable it came with its short obviously to be grounded right in the back. Now on the orginal ground cable for the car it has if I remember correct the big ground and then a little one too, now what am I supposed to do about this? Or am I wrong?

For the positive, too make it easy can I just run the cable they gave me to the existing cable and fab up a mating piece to tighten it with a nut and bolt? I dont want this to be complicated and dont want to hack up any wires incase I ever sell the car.

You're not stupid. Just take the negative cable like you said at the battery in the back and ground to the frame. Now re-terminate the ground cable up front that hooked to the original battery with large ring terminals. The gold ones available at sound shops are the best. Then bolt it to a clean spot on the frame.

For the positive cable, re-terminate all the wires that went to the original battery with the same ring terminals. Then hook them to the passenger fender positive cluster. Now run the new positive cable from the back battery and terminate it with the same ring terminal and hook it also to the positive cluster. You're done.
