could this be causing a bad smell from gases comming from the exhaust? and making my car to idle at 1.6k when i start and going back down to 1k after 20 seconds?, i know 2 years is a lot but i dont drive the car that much and new filters are comming in 2 weeks.

change your air filter and clean the MAF, go from there

 

no i dont get a ses light its really no biggy but just wanted to ask ill check that
