I f"ed up

I removed the remaining pipe for the egr system and bent the fittings going into the manifold and they leak like a pinto with no muffler. Has anyone tried JB weld? Can It take the heat of the manifolds.

I would think it would be able to handle the heat. Although I don't have any experience doing this nor have I seen it done so I can't be certain.

Take the fittings out of the top of the manifolds. You can try a search for the exact plug size and where they are available. If you don't want to go through that, you can take the fitting to your local auto parts store and get the closest plug you can find. If it doesn't fit exactly right, put some JB Weld on the threads to keep it snug. It sure isn't very professional, but it will get the job done.

it is an oddball size with a fine thread. check out your local oil change shop for an oil drain plug. i have heard that a certain oil drain plug fits perfect.

Depending on the manifold used, it can be either M20 or M22. Hope for the first, it is like 2.00 compared to 11.00

if it helps, i have the factory A.I.R. tubes that go in the manifolds, just lying here. you are welcome to them if they will work. they are from my 94. im not sure if they changed them for 95 models.

Doesn't matter, each 95 I have owned has had one or the other, it depends on the casting of the manifolds.

Try this, if you have a 20mm socket, see if you can fit it in the hole in the manifold. Do not force it at all, if it will not fall in, it will not go. If it fits, get the 22. If it is just too big, get the 20
