Well I was looking at the intake, because I thought I had an oil leak, but the more I looked at it the more it think it may not be coming form the back. The intake has allot of oil residue on the rear passenger side of the intake, right below the EGR tube (on the flat part where the last stud is) I took some pictures , well the best I could any way with out pulling stuff off. The only way I new it was leaking was because I went to the track the other night and there was some oil leaking. When the car is driving without getting on it hard it's doesn't leak. If the gasket on the EGR tube is out would it cause a leak? If anyone thinks they might be able to tell by the pics let me know and I'll send them to you so you can take a look.

 

check your oil pressure sensor. it could be cracked causing a leak . but oil in the egr system is not good. i doubt thats your prob..

 

If the oil pressure sensor isn't on the passenger rear corner of the inatke then that's not it. It's blowing by some where in that area I'm just not sure where yet.

 

I sprayed some degreaser on the corner and all the gunk came off. I may just have to run the car for a few days and see if it comes back and where.

 

No one wants to have a look at these pics and take a guess on where it kight be coming from?
