I went to shoebox's site and read the tutorial. I understand what it says to do, but I don't know...

1. How to check for 5v on the harness terminal. Is that basically the connector that connects to the knock sensor itself? Which color testing lead to connect to each part?

2.What is a knock sensor terminal? What ground am I supposed to use?

 

1. red lead of meter to k/s connector, black lead of meter to engine ground.

2. k/s terminal is the terminal on the k/s . Ground is the metal on the sensor or engine ground.
