Just wondering what the end play on the crank was set at? If it doesn't have any clearnace there, of course the crank won't spin. Just something to check before spending more money.

Took it to get miced and it was standard bore. Found the problem. The caps were on correctly. I went there and they asked me what assembly lube I was using, I told them the white grease type in a tube. He handed me some federal mugal bearing grease and this damn thing spins now. Just tightened them down and it spins with ease. For anyone who has this trouble, make sure you use the good lube. Its night and day.

I have always used the white moly lube in the white tube and never had a problem with it. That stuff you were using must have been 600,000 weight grease or something for the crank not to spin. Glad you got it fixed though.

I`ve used the white lithium and it will bind a crank, but usually it will just require a little extra effort to get the crank to spin, after it`s moving though it requires no more effort than any other lube. I like to use STP for assembly..it` stay where you put it and doesn`t run off..sorta like honey
