Don't know what they charge - but American Camaro and Firebird in Oklahoma City run a little specialty salvage place and always have the odds and ends I need I can't find anywhere else.

Also, you could figure out the threads and put barb or -AN connections on the heads.

Should be 1/4" pipe thread. I made a new one with braided hose and AN fittings years ago.

StangCrusher350:

Consider 97WS6SCharged's suggestion seriously. If planned and implemented properly the new system will not just work as needed but be much easier to deal with for any future "heads-off in the car work".

i would like to try your idea WS6. i also noticed today after not have looked at the car for a while, that the whole steam tube is broken off even the part that goes up the side of the block. in this case, can i still make one out of braided hose and AN fittings?

I have an extra one laying around stangcrusher. If you're interested but they're long & awkward. I think shipping would be retarded. I could check if you want.

nah thanks alot sleepy but thats alright. i'm just going to build one. that tubing is J U N K!! it snapped like a toothpick taking it off the heads. i'm just going to try WS6 idea. rope wont break and will bend EASILY to whatever my needs be. by the way, i looked at your z in the fquick garage and noticed the dash and lights have blue led's? did you buy all that as a kit, or just change all the original bulbs to blue?

The dealer still sells the steam tube. It's GM # 12556260, and it comes with new banjo bolts and seals.

Np. Let me know how WS6 idea works out for ya.
As for my interior lighting I bought individual bulbs after researching what size they were. I had to solder a couple leds inside 2 switches.

well those couple led's make THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE. the car looks awesome just from the lights. anyway, what size bulbs were they and did you just buy from a store or off the net? also, do you have a light coming out of your drivers side door. it looks like it.. also WS6 what did you use to make the hose itself come from head to head, like how did you connect it directly to the head. sorry...
