Angry i can't figure this out need pro.help

1996z28 lt1 6speed...I needed to repaint my entire car 'only faded' i dimantled my car painted it reasembled n it wouldn't start.replaced fuel pump n filter, TPI cesor, plugs,wires upgraded cold air, no luck starting.then i found this site n saw opti,sparks r poorly designed so i baught a distributer.broke the front moter down yes it was loose alot of play n shavings.i knew it was it put the new on n back together yeah no start @#$%^&%**&%)(%&* please chevy bro's help???i've owned this car 3 years in may no problems..

how about the ignition module? its located on the front passenger side cylinder head im sure you ran across it since its mounted to the same bracket as the coil. A lot of parts stores have the ability to check your ignition module

Describe exactly what happens when you turn the key to try and start the engine. Does the starter crank the engine? Is there any sign of the engine trying to start, some occasional pops? Have you checked the fuel pressure? Have you pulled the plug wires and verified you have spark at each plug? Have you scanned it for codes? Are you sure you indexed the new Opti correctly to the cam dowel pin?

What it s "TPI cesor"? Doe you mean throttle position sensro (TPS)?

when i try to start my car it just cranks wth an occational fire,fuel prsr good 44lbs opti is inserted in right pin hole i tried others when it wouldnt start but no go.checked all plug wires indv scanned numerous times only lol 'TPS' showed up replaced it also checked all fusses,relays,n fussed link wires all passed.

if the car ran before you painted it...then i'd be checking every body panel i pulled off to see if there was a wire near by that i could have cut or smashed/hacked up..but not knowing what you did or not do will be for you to help us help you on what it was...

yeah thats good i did take the tail lights out n ground wires from the rear of the car thanks dude going to check those in a min.also i took the opti n plug wires off today n checked the firing order its good wth the 1 'TDC'
