Somebody makes a .022 compressed. If your block hasn't been decked,ya will be about .042 on quench which is very important to get one to run good.
No miracle cure but a piece of the puzzle.

I am not sure if I have powdered rods or not. Does anyone know if the 94 LT1's had powered rods? I have a GMHTP mag here and there is a 94z in there that says it has stock powdered rods, so my guess is that I should get some new rods?

Our '94 didn't but we got a set of used PINK rods and reconed them and put her together.
The powdered rods look smooth like they were machined out of steel,the cast ones look rough like a casting or engine block.
