I am back with a formula
I sold my 94 z28 roughly 3 years ago and did not plan to own another 4th gen f-body. I got it in to the 12's and figured I could not afford to go faster and sold it. Yesterday I found the buy/car everyone dreams about. I just found a 95 formula with 30,000 miles and paid 5,500 for it. Bought it from the orginal owners son after the owner passed on. The car is like new outside of a cigarette burn on the rear drivers side seat. What I need is some info on this car. It is a 95 with a six speed. It vins out as a formula, but has no formula badging and a 110 speedo. From everything I have seen and read this car should have both the badging and 150 speedo. Any and all info appreciated.

I was shopping for a Typhoon and ran across the formula. I figured the tire deal was more than likely the explanation for the speedo, but thought it was odd for a formula not to come with z-rated tires. The lack of badging is intresting. I have been driving an svo mustang for awhile it is nice to have v8 torque again.

There are only two decals on the 93-97 Formulas, easy to remove. You are ready know why you have the 120 speedo, which also means you have the speed governor. Some other tell-tell sign of a 93-97 Formula are the V8 Tail lights, blank panel between the tail lights, and disk brake all the way around. TAs and Firebirds both had the bird on the panel. I have allot of info on my sight if you want to check it out.
