Does anyone know what the "best" settings on the Hypertech Programmer are ( shift points?)?

 

"Best" is relative to your particular car. No one can tell you what that is. Experimentation is really the only way. (I'm sure there are going to be some posts to tell you to get rid of the HPP and get a real programmer ).

 

Get rid of the HPP and get a real program.

 

Hypertech power programmers suck hard core. Only thing they are good for is turning on the fans and changing the rear gears.

 

Yeah, get rid of that POS. Hell if you are OBD I (i didnt pay attention) you could have gotten LT1 edit for the price of that hypertech junk. Put in on ebay and make some money back and get some real software. (btw, you would need a laptop...but who doesnt have one these days).

 

Explain about this LT-1 edit. Tell me about the gains from it

 

Its used to fine tune many parameters of the car/compuer.

BTW....I just purchased the full version of LT1 edit and will be doing tuning/fixing. However, Im not up and running yet. Its a damn good worthwhile investment, make sure you check it out.
