Hypertech programer worth it?

I may be looking into buying a hypertech programer for my t/a. I just fed up with having that 105 speed limiter. Apart from removing the speed limiter will i see any gains with it? my friend bout a hypertech for his ls1 and he said it really helped out and made his second gear hit much harder.

Yeah did a search on it, but it seems that custom tunes seem to benifit higher modded cars. My car is preaty much stock except for the CAI and cutout. Would madz28 or pcmforless be able to tune the car for its different cam and heads? their of an impala.

the average hp increase on a mostly stock car is ~13rwhp. definitely worth it IMO. that and a tune will help you with drivability...

Well Madwolf, who I recommend, offers gains of about 13rwhp on stock car. Tunes are awesome for stock cars, bolt on cars, H/C cars, anything you name it a tune will help your car run to its peak performance. These car run a bit rich from the factory usually the tune helps that out also. I highly recommend Madolf tuning, he is the tuning grand master. Hypertech is worthless for the money you pay. Read the link I sent you.

On top of what everyone else said pcmforless.com or madz28.com are also cheaper than Hypercrap, there is not one reason to consider anything but custom tuning. Heck for the price of a hypertech you could buy the software and cable to be able to custom tune the car yourself.
