First, I scoff at their directions to "pull the fuel pump fuse and start engine. Let run until it dies. Ok, I like the fact that they have you pull the fuel pump fuse so you bleed pressure, but you should be able to bleed your pressure off via the pressure relief valve located on most fuel pressure gauges. I just don't like the idea of letting the engine die staving of fuel.

Second, when adjusting the pressure, the directions say: "turn the adjusting screw (a small allen screw located down inside the vacuum hose port on the regulator) clockwise to increase pressure, or counter-clockwise to decrease pressure." There doesn't seem to be a small allen screw in the vacuum port, but there IS a scrwe sticking out of the end of the regulator. Is this the screw??

They probably provide that goofy method based on recommendations from HyperTech's attorneys. They want to avoid lawsuits from fools that create engine fires due to splashing fuel on the engine using the easy method you describe. I used your method

CLockwise increases FP. Yes, that allen screw you identified is the right one.

It's not an allen screw though. It's a normal six point screw. That's the one though?
