its PRETTY BAD its NOT the pan gasket cause all that stuff is brand new and the oil is coming from inside the flywheel cover! im thinking rear main??? thing is that the rear main was replaced when i did my stroker which was less than 4k miles ago
what do u guys think?? thats all i can think of! ive NEVER seen an oil leak like this and the only problem ive never had that i can think would cause somthing like this is the rear main

Sounds like your rear main to me, shouldnt be blown this fast thou, maybe it was put in wrong, or defective? Definatly sounds like the rear main thou, a buddy of mine had that same leak on his truck
Check the rear of your intake manifold. Did you use the little rubber gaskets that go behind and in front of the lifter valley? If you did that could be the problem, because they suck and often blow out. Using striaght silicone works great. LT1's are known to leak from behind the intake manifold. I would check that first.

no its not that though! i have copper silicone on the front and rear of the intake! she seals just fine! this is a VERY noticible leak... like i said it looks like its coming from the flywheel housing! you can tell it leaks STRAIT from the the flywheel housing, down, then back towards the tranny
so it wouldnt be coming from anywhere in front of the flywheel housing!....its gotta be that damn rear main!
I feel your pain, I am burning oil and im not sure where its from, god I hope its not the rings, im changing the valve seals in the next 2 weeks while im replacing my clutch, no car for another week, this makes 3?4? in a row
I had the same problem and it turned out to be the rear main seal. Your oil pan gasket has metal shims in the gasket. What happened to me is the metal shim of my old gasket was still on the oil pan stud (the stud attached to the rear of the block that bolts up to your oil pan) so when I put the new gasket on it left a little gap between the oil pan and block.

If it is the intake you should be able to feel on the back side of the passenger head (below the intake) and after your car has heated the intake should start leaking. If you have to do the intake again use copper RTV....I did and no leaks yet on the 2nd try! (first try was red RTV)
Joe
Actually where the head meets the intake.

welcome to "PEOPLE THAT DONT READ THE WHOLE THREAD PART II"
It leaks out the back of the intake...near where the EGR pipe goes down. The pipe heats up and so does the intake and the intake lifts spilling oil. It's on the firewall side of the block...sounded confusing lol.

instead of bitchin go drop your tranny and find out for sure. ITs either your oil pan gasket or your rear main seal. GEt to work
