i just got my hub back on, but im not sure if its on all the way. i want to say i remember there being a little silver on the hub right in front of the timing cover but im not really sure. Does anybody know if there is supposed to be a little ring (probably a little less the 1cm wide) of silver? and yea i know im horrible at describing things, but if you dont know what im talking about with the silver and whatnot i could take a picture of it.

 

It should go on until it bottoms on the front of the crank snout.
