Lloyd does excellent work, and on top of that he is extremely helpful. He is always willing to take the time to answer questions, give advice, and generally help you out. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future. Between him and brett I got alot of critical and useful info, and some top notch work.

BTW my package is Lloyd Ported Trickflow heads and ported intake manifold, and a bigger version of the LE3 cam.

+1... after finishing bolt-ons you either move to h/c or power adders... and Lloyds site was the first thing I found when searching the site. My only problem is deciding from LE1 or 2... blah damn middle-class wages!

supporting mods AND a commitment to make it run right. that means doing all the little things and making sure the details are correct - not a slam on anyone, but there are a lot of guys who throw parts at cars without knowing what they are doing, and expect results automatically. the guys who run the killer number have a ton of time and trial-and-error processes into their rides.

Actually my heads where before Lloyd started using stages. But I think they would be considered LE2s. The cam on the other hand is a tad smaller than the LE1 I believe. At the time Joe O. was working with Lloyd and I asked for a cam that would pass emissions if needed. I have not had to try passing though since the car is now emissions except.

So in theory you could be pulling significantly larger numbers with the LE2 cam right?

Yes I guess you could, and it has crossed my mind. But I wish you could take a ride in my car and feel how tame it is for the #s it runs. For example, doing 55mph in overdrive, I give it just enough gas that it doesn't kick down to third and it still accelerates much better than when it was stock and would have to down shift. Plus with some more work, as in a decent trans and fine tuning the nitrous, this thing should run some very low 11s, no problem. Some may think I'm dreaming, but I have been doing this long enough to know what's possible and what's not.
