if l replace the opti and spark plugs and wires.. will l gain anything?

Only if what you have on there now is not functioning at 100%. Then you would gain back what you have lost.

 

yeah.. l have multiple missfire..

l need a basic tune up.. opti, spark plugs and wires needs to be replaced.

but now l cant feel that l lost any power.. why not?

 

If your car has been like that for awhile and you have been driving it in that condition, then you probably just became accustomed to it.

 

Well if its missfiring you are losing power there.

 

no.. minute it happened and service engine light came on.. it was still the same.. they car has power on all the RPMS.. just idles on 750 RPM. it used to be 1000 RPM. thats it.. well l guess LT1s are fast and V-8 thats why l dont feel nothing, cuz it is still fast..

anyway, if l keep driving with missfire.. what would happen? would it damage the engine or somewhereelse?

 

Don't think it will damage it but your power and gas milliage will suffer.
