My friend was rideing in my car yesterday and he pointed out a howling noise coming from my car. It only happens when i am in first gear and barely moving. It makes a howling noise mostly on deceleration. Its not very loud. Is this normal?

 

Gear whine? Stock rear going out?

Or is it towards the front?

 

Not sure exactly because it's not very loud. But its sort of a pulsating whine sound. Like when you in first gear and then you let it slow down without pressing in the clutch. The car sort of jerks a little. Well it seems like it whines with the jerks. Sorry i suck at describing things.
