How is www.lt1dave.com

I am need of some Transmission work and wanted to know if anyone has used Dave's services before? I checked out his websight and just wanted to get some input on his quality before I send some work his way. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

He does all of the work on my car...I've never had any problems with him. He has rebuilt my transmission, rebuilt my 10 bolt, installed subframe connectors, installed my 383, has done my programming numerous times, helped me out with routine maintainence on weekends, etc, etc. In fact, I'm heading over to his garage tonight to drop off some parts for my next engine rebuild (and probably drink some beers).

He's a good guy, his prices are fair, and he'll take care of you if you have any problems down the road.

I've seen him and talked with someone involved with his operation, and felt confident that they do good work. I plan to have Dave do my transmission when it comes time.

Thats who I plan to use in the upcoming months to do a T56 conversion and install my cam . Plus he's close to home so that makes it 10 times better.

Reason I ask is I live in Illinois, but I cant find a decent Trans shop or one that doesnt want to make a fortune on rebuilding one. I am not worried about shipping if Dave is good at the Transmission rebuilding. I was just gonna buy one from Speed Inc. but I have heard of problems with there transmissions as well. I am tired of having this damn Trans out. This will be the 5th time. I am about to install it with quick release pins. LOL I appreciate all the info guys.

I emailed him last night and he responded today. I asked him a few questions but just wanted to get some feedback on his quality.

two thumbs up here. Good friend as well as knowing what he is doing.

He built a 4l60e for a 383 Imp SS my dad had built. Working great to this day.
