How to test the spark plug wires?

My friend has a crappy analog multimeter, but isnt this what you need to test it? If so, how do you test the wires. Do you leave it connected to the opti, and then unplug it from the sparkplug, and test it with the key turned onto accessory?

Sorry if im wrong, never done anything like it so im jes guessing. Thanks for anyhelp.

Also, what are you test..the current, resistence?

You remove the wire from the car and test resistance end to end. Resistance varies by length and by brand of wire.

Ok I have the Taylor 8MM Spiro-Pro Spark Plug Wires. Anyone know what those would get for resistence?
