ok so if i do the opti spark test, connecting a spark plug, the harness and coil up and having the ignition in the on position, i also need to have the opti grounded too?
because i know one of my optis is good and that could eb a reasonb as to why it didnt spark because i didnt have the opti grounded

I also just did a test on the harness, i checked the ohms on the wires, they read.6ohms on all, and with a 12 v current throught hem all they read all fine.... so current flows and there is no apparent resistance (but then again they werent hot)... oh yeah, i have no clue about wireing hahaha but thats osme stuff i did, so base on my "findings" my opti on the car car is messed up i just need to see whats up with the 2 optis i have on my garage floor

the harness also looks BRAND NEW, so nope no rats

 

well pee on me, i just tried the both again and grounded even the opti and the little punk wouldnt spark for me!!!! man alaive now i think i have to buy another opti!!!!

 

With KOEO, do you have 12 volts when measured from the pink/black wire to the red wire?

 

KOEO is the key on the on position right? well then yes i do measuring from the ICM harness

 

Yes key on engine off. I was refering to 2 of the 4 wires going to the opti not the ICM.
