Anyone have an lt1 on a stand they can measure the total height from oil pan to top of intake for me? I am going to pick up one tonight and need to know if it will fit in the back of my jeep cherokee (33" gate height).

I think the motor will fit, but I need to know the height difference so I can see if the hoist and the motor will fit through.

should easily clear 33". Just keep the hoist arm real close to the engine when putting it into the jeep.. or.... get about 4 people to hump that bitch in.

 

Measured the one sitting in my parents car port and it's about 25".

 

Awesome... I thought it was roughly 24-26... but that will be close but should clear.

6'3" and a half
