I am eventually going to do headers, exhaust, port and polished heads, and LT4 hot cam.

About how much power should i then? And will the stock rear be able to handle it? If not can I strengthen it or is that not possible? I would like to stay away from buying a new one cause they are damn expensive.

 

From what I have heard, you can weld a bead around where the axle tubes meet the center section, because they are just pressed in. Also, dont forget a rear end girdle....
